Biography
Alberto Tama (Senior, IEEE) obtained the degrees of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and MBA from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) in 1986 and 1988, respectively. He earned the Post MBA degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in 2010 and the Master's degree in Renewable Energies and Energy Sustainability from the University of Barcelona (UB) in 2019, also completing a Diploma in Renewable Energies at the European Centre for Climate, Energy, and Resource Security (EUCERS). He has served as a Research Professor at ESPOL, Professor in the Master in Electricity at UCSG, Professor and Thesis Tutor in the Master in Renewable Energies and Energy Sustainability at UNIBA, Professor and Thesis Tutor in the Bachelor's in industrial Organization Engineering at Universitat Carlemany (UCMA), and Thesis Tutor in the Master in Renewable Energies at Valencia International University. In the professional practice, he has developed his work in the field of Electrical Engineering, being the author of several books and articles in this area of knowledge. Currently, he is an International Consultant and expert Advisor in topics related to Sustainable Energy Systems and Research Projects in Renewable Energies. In September 2022, Science Publishing Group honored him with the appointment as Editorial Board Member of the American Journal of Energy Engineering (AJEE).
