Biography

Seyed Majid Hashemzadeh (Member, IEEE) was born in Khalkhal, Iran. He received the B.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, Ardabil, Iran, in 2015, the M.Sc. degree in Power Electronics from Sahand University of Technology, Tabriz, Iran, in 2017, and the Ph.D. degree in Power Electronics Engineering from the University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran, in 2023. He worked as a Research Assistant with Qatar University, Doha, Qatar, from May to August 2023. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at China Three Gorges University (CTGU), Yichang, China. He has been recognized among the worlds top 2% of scientists in 2025. He has published more than 25 journal articles in the field of power electronics. He serves as an Editorial Board Member of ICCK Transactions on Power Electronics and Industrial Systems, and the International Journal of Energy and Power Engineering. His research interests include Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, DC-DC Converters, and High Step-Up Converters.
