Biography

Wei Huang, PhD/post-doctoral, professor-level senior engineer, he is mainly engaged in vibration and noise control for heavy equipment, power machine foundation, precision engineering, building structures, strong and micro vibration, and etc. He is a registered structural engineer in China. He presided over one key project of SINOMACH Youth Fund, and one youth fund of SINOMAST, and 4 other projects. As the executive leader of the sub-project, he presided over two major technology development projects of the SINOMACH and he has participated in one National Key R&D Program Project. As the main compiler, he has compiled 7 national standards and 6 association standards, and he is the main draftsman of the only mandatory full-text national standard for engineering vibration in China. He has published more than 30 papers in SCI, EI and other core Chinese journals as the first author. He has 6 monographs (including 1 first author of SPRINGER book and 3 deputy editors), and 27 authorized invention patents, 6 utility model patents, and 6 software copyrights. His achievements won the " First Prize in Science and Technology Science Progress of China Metallurgical Group Corporation", "Third prize of Science and Technology of China Machinery Industry ", " Special prize in Engineering Construction innovation Technology in China", "Second prize of SINOMACH excellent patent " and "CECS Outstanding young talent" and so on. In the aspect of social part-time work, he is the deputy secretary general of the Building Vibration Professional Committee of CECS, and he is also a member of the Cultural Heritage Building Protection Branch of CECS, and he is also a member of the Building Acoustics Branch of the Acoustical Society of China, and is a member of the China Association for Disaster Prevention, and is an expert member of building environment technology committee of China International Association for Promotion of Science and Technology. He is on the editorial board of Open Journal of Acoustics and Vibration, and on the young editorial Board of Engineering Science and Technology (EI), and on the young editorial board of Journal of Gun Launch & Control, and the reviewer of Journal of sound and Vibration (SCI), Journal of Vibration, measurement & Diagnosis (EI), Noise and Vibration Control, and so on.
