Biography

After completing his doctorate, Dr. Oberdieck decided to put his theoretical knowledge into practice. Together with his partner, Dr. Peter Schlecht, he founded GrandEdu GmbH, a company dedicated to delivering adult education at the highest level. GrandEdu offers practice-oriented courses for professionals and job seekers, preparing them for qualifications such as the Bachelor Professional (e.g., Business Economist, Certified Accountant) and Master Professional (e.g., Business Administrator, Technical Business Administrator). These qualifications are recognized both nationally in Germany and internationally, providing a valuable alternative to traditional academic programs. Under Dr. Oberdieck's leadership, GrandEdu has developed numerous innovative concepts, including blended learning approaches, adaptive learning platforms, and interactive online courses. His goal is to make education flexible, efficient, and accessible for everyone. Notably, he focuses on creating course offerings tailored to the demands of the labor market and leveraging education vouchers to fund these training programs. Research and Teaching Despite his entrepreneurial pursuits, Dr. Oberdieck remains committed to research and teaching. He serves as a guest lecturer at various German and international universities, delivering seminars on topics such as accounting and finance. His scholarly work has been published in numerous academic journals. Awards and Social Commitment Dr. Oberdieck has received several awards for his contributions, including the Tutor Award from the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences. He is a member of the examination board for business economists at various Chambers of Industry and Commerce and is actively involved in promoting educational equity. He is particularly passionate about enabling people from disadvantaged backgrounds to access high-quality education.
