Biography

Tien-Wen Sung received his Ph.D. degree in Computer and Communication Engineering from Department of Electrical Engineering at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan in 2014. Before that, he joined Hsing Kuo University, Taiwan as a lecturer and was promoted to assistant professor and associate professor in 2010 and 2014, respectively. Before joining Hsing Kuo University, he had worked for Taida Medical Info Technology Co., Ltd., Taiwan as a project manager of system development. In 2015, he left Hsing Kuo University and joined Fujian University of Technology, China as an associated professor. He is now a Full Professor in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Fujian University of Technology, China. He is awarded the Taiwanese Outstanding Talents in Fujian Province of China. He is also a member of IEEE, ACM, IAENG, EAI, CCF, and AFCEC. He is the executive editor of Journal of Information Hiding and Multimedia Processing, the associate editor of Journal of Network Intelligence, and the academic editor of Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing. As a guest editor, he has edited several special issues of SCI journals. He has published more than 80 research papers indexed by SCI, SSCI, or EI, including an ESI highly cited paper, and won the Excellent/Best Paper Awards from several conferences. He also served as a reviewer for many journals and served as a committee member for many conferences. He is the leader of several research projects funded by the governments and university. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, e-Learning Technology, Internet of Things.
