Biography

Vice Dean, Professor, and Master's Supervisor of the School of Music, Southwest University; Doctor of Music and Art, USA; Member of the China Musicians Association; Director of the Chongqing Musicians Association; Vice President of the Piano Professional Committee; Vice Chairman of the Jiangbei District Musicians Association, Chongqing; Member of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Ordinary Undergraduate Universities in Chongqing; One of the first batch of renowned teachers for extracurricular education of young students in Chongqing. Graduated from the Affiliated High School of Sichuan Conservatory of Music, later obtained a full scholarship to study in the United States, and served as an assistant during his master's and doctoral studies. In recent years, his main research direction has been music aesthetic education, focusing on two areas: enhancing young people's musical literacy and cultivating them through red culture. To date, he has published multiple academic papers in CSSCI core journals such as "China Youth Research", "China Higher Education", and "Guangming Daily (Theory Edition)", and has authored two monographs published by the National Top 100 Press. He has presided over one project funded by the National Social Science Fund and two major projects at the provincial and ministerial level in Chongqing's social science planning, and has compiled and translated multiple textbooks. He always adheres to the fundamental principles of "cultivating students' moral character", "promoting education in all aspects", and "comprehensive education": his students have won multiple awards in professional competitions such as the National Music Education Basic Skills Exhibition.
