Biography

Dinesh S is an Assistant Professor in Commerce at St. Francis College, Koramangala, Bengaluru, with over six years of teaching experience in higher education. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Commerce from Bharathidasan School of Management, Bharathidasan University. He holds an M.Com degree from Bangalore University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) from Karnataka State Open University. He has qualified both UGC-NET and KSET in Commerce, demonstrating strong academic competence and subject expertise. His teaching and research interests lie in the areas of Financial Technology (FinTech), digital payments, customer satisfaction in banking, and financial literacy. He has made significant academic contributions through publications in reputed journals, including Scopus and ABDC-indexed journals. His research focuses on contemporary issues such as digital financial inclusion, AI-driven financial services, and sustainable fintech practices. Dinesh has actively participated in national and international conferences and has received recognition for his academic excellence, including the Best Presenter Award at an international conference. He has also contributed book chapters and peer-reviewed research articles on topics related to fintech, banking, and financial behavior. In addition to teaching and research, he has undertaken several academic and administrative roles such as Academic Coordinator, Examination Committee Coordinator, and Coordinator of the Institution Innovation Council. He is proficient in research and analytical tools such as SPSS and JAMOVI and has completed multiple faculty development programs and certification courses under SWAYAM and UGC initiatives. His commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, and student development reflects his dedication to advancing knowledge in the field of commerce and finance.
