Biography

Chemist-Pharmacist-Biologist with a specialty in Bromatology (2004-2008) and has a Master's Degree (2008-2010) and a PhD in Food Science and Technology (2013-2016) from the Faculty of Chemical Sciences of the Autonomous University of Coahuila. In 2019, he completed a postdoctoral stay at ITESM, Monterrey Campus. He is director of the Research Center for the Conservation of Biodiversity and Ecology of Coahuila (CICBEC) of the UAdeC. He has a career of 9 years of professional experience in food technology, agricultural biotechnology and industrial property. He has participated as a CONAFOR technical advisor for technology transfer projects from the UAdeC to rural communities. He has more than 10 published scientific articles, 6 published book chapters, in addition to having a patent granted and transferred to the productive sector. Belongs to the National System of Researchers Level I. Has a desirable PRODEP Profile.
