Biography
Mariaclaudia Cusumano, Ph.D (She/her) is a Research Fellow in Environmental Sociology at the Department of Sociology and Social Research at the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy. Her field of Research is Sociology of the Environment and Territory; in her research, she is working on Food accessibility and quality of life, Anthropocene, Climate Change, Urban Lifestyle, Environmental Refugees, Sustainability models, UNESCO Heritage, GIS. She is on the Organizing Committee of the 13th WEEC (World Environmental Education Congress) held in Perth (Australia) in 2026. She is on the Editorial Board of the Scientific Journal Culture della Sostenibiità, on the Scientific Committee of Collana Effetto Farfalla, On the Scientific Committee of STAI Early Career (Sociologia dell’Ambiente e del territorio Italia). Currently, as Weec Network collaborator, she is carrying out a research project with the Club of Rome for updating “ No limits to learning” Volume.
