He holds a Ph.D. in Science Education from the University of Ilorin (2011), and began his academic journey at the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, where he served from 2012 to 2020 before joining the Federal University Oye-Ekiti in July 2020. Dr. Adeniran’s research interests include creative thinking in science education, gender inclusivity, inquiry-based learning, and the development of effective STEM pedagogies in Nigeria. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on curriculum development, innovative science teaching strategies, and student engagement. A seasoned educator and mentor at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, Dr. Adeniran actively participates in peer-review activities for academic journals and contributes to academic development through mentorship and collaboration. His current work focuses on enhancing science teaching practices through evidence-based approaches and digital innovations in education. Professional Achievements Dr. Sunday Ade Adeniran has successfully supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, nurturing future scholars with patience and scholarly rigor. He is currently the Acting Dean, Faculty of Education. Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He has served as the Managing Editor of the FUOYE International Journal of Education (FIJED), where he oversees the publication of high-quality educational research. A respected peer reviewer, he contributes his expertise to several national and international journals in the field of science education. Deeply committed to educational advancement, Dr. Adeniran actively participates in policy dialogues and advocacy initiatives focused on strengthening STEM education in Nigeria. His scholarly contributions include numerous book chapters that explore diverse aspects of curriculum development, pedagogy, and science teaching strategies. In his ongoing pursuit of innovation, he is currently developing a custom educational chatbot named Scientade, designed to support science education through interactive, digital means.
