Biography

Blanca P. Castellanos-Potentiano, Biologist from the Autonomous University of Campeche (UACAM) and Doctorate in Tropical Agroecosystems from the College of Postgraduates (COLPOS) Mexico. She is a Researcher Associate at the National Institute of Forestry, Agricultural and Livestock Research INIFAP CIRGOC-Campo Experimental Huimanguillo, Tabasco. His line of research is based on the plant-insect relationship in ecosystems under the approach of ecological relations and agroecology, with emphasis on the honey flora of the bee-growing regions of the country, on directed ecological restoration, as well as on the potential impacts of climate change in those relationships and in society. The motivation for being a researcher is to understand the surrounding environment and transfer that knowledge to the community, as a social obligation to communicate scientific findings from children to adults. The relevance of being part of an Arbitration Council is an opportunity to reinforce and contribute to the dissemination of the research findings that is carried out accurately so that they contribute to the interweaving of the collective network of knowledge.
