Biography
Paras Vaghela is a Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE), Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, where he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Education. His research interests include Teacher Education, National Education Policy (NEP 2020), Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), curriculum development, educational assessment, and innovative teaching-learning practices. He holds M.Sc. (Chemical Science), B.Ed., and M.Ed. degrees and has qualified both UGC-NET and GSET in Education. He has more than 2.5 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in a teacher education institution, where he taught Pedagogy of Science and other education-related courses. He has actively participated in several Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), workshops, seminars, and conferences at national and international levels. He has presented research papers and published articles in the areas of teacher education, educational policy, assessment practices, and quality enhancement in higher education. His academic interests focus on improving teacher preparation programmes and promoting quality and innovation in education through research and professional engagement.
