Biography

Dr. Elsayed has been part of the Egyptian government during the past years at the Ministry of International Cooperation as well as the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, in which she has developed a wide experience especially on development cooperation, governance and sustainable development. Recently, she has managed the flagship project of "Be An Ambassador for Sustainable Development" under the umbrella of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, through which she led the initiative for three years, witnessing the graduation of more than 2000 young Egyptians. The initiative was recognized by the UNDESA as a significant initiative for capacity development on SD and youth empowerment. Dr. Elsayed is also a lecturer teaching diverse courses and topics related to those areas, where she has obtained her masters and doctorate degrees with a special focus on governance and development, and her first international book was published in 2020 with Palgrave Macmillan on corruption in MENA Region.
