Biography
Dr. Julius T. Gat-eb was born and raised in the Philippines. An educator for almost 27 years and at present a school head in the Basic Education and a faculty member in the graduate school programs. He is an International Gold Awardee for Best in Paper Presentation and also a Gold Medal Awardee for the Best in Research Abstract category. He is also an international speaker on Curriculum, Assessment, and Instructional Leadership. He is one of only 9 national trainers of the Department of Education and the Private Education Assistance Committee(PEAC) for the Senior High School Filipino Teachers in the Philippines and also a national trainer-facilitator for private school administrators in crafting a Standards-Based Improvement Plan in compliance with PEAC Certification. He is the current Elementary School Principal of the University of Baguio Laboratory Elementary School, and a faculty member of the University of Baguio Graduate School where he teaches educational planning, curriculum, leadership, assessment, creativity and instruction. He is the Chairman of the Institutional Committee on Vision-Mission-Objectives-Core Values-Graduate Attributes (VMOC) of the University of Baguio. He finished his Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Language and Mathematics, Recipient of University Leadership Award, and an Honorable Mention. He finished his Doctor of Philosophy in Development Education in 2013 and Master of Arts in Education in 2008, both in the University of Baguio, Baguio City, Philippines. Because of his achievements and contribution to the community, he was awarded as one of the Outstanding Youth of Baguio-professional level in 2006, a recipient of Top Outstanding Member of Private Education Retirement Annuity Association (PERAA) in the National Level-Teaching Category in 2017, Most Outstanding Private Elementary School Head in the Cordillera Administrative Region in 2021, and Most Outstanding Private Secondary School Teacher Award in the Cordillera Administrative Region in 2020. He was also a recipient of the Most Outstanding Teacher, rank 1 for three consecutive years (Hall of Fame) in the University of Baguio FAMERS in 2007. He is the Regional Coordinator of the International Society of Teachers, Administrators, and Researchers, Incorporated and Aloysian Publication- Cordillera Administrative Region. He was a certifier of Education Service Contracting (ESC) Participating Schools in the Philippines from 2012-2014 and at present a professional accreditor of Philippine Association of Colleges & Universities-Commission on Accreditation.
