Dr. Ismet Yildirim

Biography

He was born in 1962 in Denizli. He completed his undergraduate education at the Department of Plant Protection of Ege University, Faculty of Agriculture in 1988. Yıldırım completed his master's degree in the Department of Plant Protection of the Institute of Science at the same university between 1989-1992. His master's thesis is "Studies on the Prevalence and Chemical Control of Rhizoctonia solani Causing Root and Crown Rot in Carnations". He completed his doctorate in the same department between 1993-1999. His doctoral thesis is "Studies on Alternative Control Methods against Powdery Mildew (Uncinula necator (Schw.) Burr.)". He worked as a research assistant in TARİŞ Research and Development Directorate between 1993-1999. He worked as an Assist. Prof. in the Department of Plant Protection at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Agriculture between 2000-2011, and as an Assoc. Prof. between 2011-2015. YILDIRIM, who worked as an Associate Professor in the Department of Agriculture at Düzce University between 2015-2016, received the title of Prof. Dr. in 2016 and continues his duty in the Department of Plant Protection.
