Biography

Post Doctoral Researcher at the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa; doctor of social sciences in the discipline of security studies; focuses his research interests on issues related to defence, education for security, the relations between the security system and the defence subsystem, the transformation of the armed forces, and the nature of contemporary armed challenges and threats. Author and co-author of numerous studies, including: Management and command in contemporary conditions; Prospective concepts of the transformation of the armed forces of selected countries; Elements of the defence subsystem of the Republic of Poland and their impact on security; Education for security in a higher education institution – threats, challenges, opportunities; Structural Changes in the Polish Armed Forces Following the System Transformation, Social Aspects of Changes in the Polish Army after 1989; External and internal conditions for the professionalisation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland after accession to NATO; The relational nature of the perception of security and threats in contemporary conditions; Analysis of selected threats to military power in the contemporary security environment; Challenges and threats of higher education in the area of digitization; Security and higher education in local community development perspective
