Biography
Njideka Mbelede is an innovative educator versed in the history of facilitating student learning. Leads and supervises in-depth research projects on educational issues with over 20 years of research and grant-winning proposals. I guide both online and in-class discussions with innovative instructional techniques. Embodies university mission and values to support student retention and school reputation. Excels in discussion-driven environments with strong research, communication, and instruction skills. I work collaboratively to gather and disseminate data for diverse projects and support diversity, equity, and inclusion as guiding, principles in delivery services. I have conducted quantitative and qualitative research and developed instruments to address gender-related issues. This includes female underrepresentation in echelon positions. My current research focused on the development and factorial validation of an instrument for assessing teacher effectiveness in instruction delivery of faculty-wide courses in Nigerian Universities. and assessing students’ mathematics Interests and perceived teacher effectiveness. Njideka led a research team in her unit that focused on assessing the Item Parameter Estimates of Unified Tertiary Matriculation Mathematics Examination Using Item Response Theory 3 -Parameter Logistic Model
