Biography

Dr. Pratheesh. P is now the Assistant Professor in History at St. Michael's College, Cherthala, an Aided college affiliated to the University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram. He has been teaching for 19 years, beginning in 2005 as a guest lecturer in history in the PG department of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit at Kalady. He received his doctorate from the University of Kerala, and he also holds nine postgraduate degrees, including the master's degree in Education (M. Ed). His main areas of interest are modern Indian history, Indian education history, economic history of India, social formation and socio-cultural history of India, educational psychology, and classroom instruction. The 'Alternative Strategy for Assessing Social Science Learning' published in the National Journal of Education (BHU) was the most viewed and cited of his twelve international publications.
