Biography
I am a sociologist with a focus on technology, work, and organization. In my research I investigate the interactions, scope and consequences of digitalization processes. Since September 2022, I am a member of the doctoral program 'Good Work in a Transformative World' at the WZB. My dissertation, 'Digitalization in the craft sector,' examines changes in working practices within craft enterprises and how the introduction of digital technologies is affecting both work and employees. A qualitative approach is used, combining case studies in craft enterprises with expert interviews. I hold a Master's degree in sociology with a focus on the sociology of technology and organization from RWTH Aachen University. I completed the Bachelor's degree in social sciences with business administration at the University of Cologne. During my studies, I gained experience in project monitoring for international funding projects and worked in a consultancy firm for small and medium-sized enterprises.
