Biography
Alejandro Galindo Durán is an outstanding architect, teacher and researcher with a solid and diversified career in the fields of architecture, education and urban development. Graduated as an architect from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Granada, Alejandro furthered his training with a Master's Degree in Teaching Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, and a Master's Degree in Local Development from the University of Almeria. His passion for education and economic development led him to obtain a PhD in Economics and Development from the same university, with a thesis that received the qualification of Outstanding - Cum Laude. Professionally, Alejandro founded INTA3D arquitectura, his own studio, in 2012, where he specialized in the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as augmented reality and virtual reality in architectural design. Since 2016, he has worked as a freelance architect under the firm Galindo Durán Arquitectura, participating in innovative projects that have been recognized internationally. Parallel to his career in architecture, Alejandro has developed an outstanding teaching career. Since 2016, he has been a full-time teacher at the María Inmaculada Secondary School, where he implements innovative methodologies such as Gamification and Cooperative Learning. In addition, since 2015, he has been a professor at the University of Almeria, teaching subjects in Official Master's programs and at the Senior University, and has recently assumed the role of Interim Substitute Professor in the Department of Education. Alejandro has published numerous articles in high impact journals and has presented his research at prestigious national and international conferences. His areas of research include the integration of digital technologies in education, urban economic development, and sustainability in architecture. His work reflects an ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence, significantly impacting both academic and professional environments.
