Biography
Mohamed Belmahi is a Moroccan geographer and researcher, born on May 1, 1983, in Taifa (Taza). I began my academic career at the Multidisciplinary Faculty of Taza, where I obtained a DEUG (Diploma in Economics) and a Bachelor's degree in Geography. I then continued my studies at the Dhar El Mahraz Faculty of Arts and Humanities in Fez, where I obtained a Master's degree in Geography, Environment, and Territory. In 2024, I received my PhD in Geography, with honors and congratulations. Alongside my research, I was also a qualified teacher between 2007 and October 2025, and I recently passed the competitive examination for Associate Professor. My research contributions have been internationally recognized. In 2025, I was ranked among the top 6,446 researchers in Morocco according to the AD Scientific Index.
