Imran Arshad

Biography

Engr. Imran Arshad is an accomplished Agricultural Engineer and Ph.D. candidate specializing in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering at Sindh Agriculture University, Pakistan. With over 15 years of professional experience across the UAE and Pakistan, he currently serves as an Agriculture Extension Officer with Star Services LLC (ADAFSA Project), focusing on sustainable farm practices, pest management, and irrigation systems. He is a seasoned researcher with more than 50 published articles and over 130 peer reviews to his credit. His expertise spans responsive drip irrigation, crop water use efficiency, and post-harvest technology. He is an editorial board member and associate editor for several reputable international journals including MC Agriculture & Environmental Sciences, Scientific Forefront Journal in Agricultural Research, and European Journal of Agriculture and Food Sciences. He has received numerous awards including the Best Extension Scientist Award (2025), Excellence in Research Award (2024), and Best Ph.D. Scholar Award (2023). His contributions to agricultural engineering and extension services have been widely recognized across Asia and the Middle East.
