Biography
Michelle Rosser-Majors, Ph.D. Assistant Dean, Professor, College of Arts and Sciences Dr. Michelle L. Rosser-Majors is an Assistant Dean and Professor in the College of Arts and Sciences at University of Arizona Global Campus. As an author and researcher Dr. Rosser-Majors has individually and collaboratively published and presented numerous works including Psychology Applied: Diverse Domains, Ample Opportunity (2020), Theories of Learning: An Exploration (2017), and Becoming an Integrated Educational Leader (2014). Book chapters include Applying Online Instructor Presence Amidst Changing Times (in Slapac, A., Balcerzak, P., & O’Brien (Eds.) Action Research and the Global Empowerment of Educators and Student Learning, 2021) and The Case of the Plagiarized Paragraph: A Practical Exercise to Develop Academic Voice (in Integrating Writing into the College Classroom: Strategies for Promoting Student Skills, 2018). Scholarly articles include Improving Retention Factors and Student Success Online Utilizing the Community of Inquiry Framework’s Instructor Presence Model (Online Learning Journal, 2022) and Virtual Collaboration in Academia (Creative Nursing, 2020.) She has presented research at conferences both nationally and internationally.
