Dr. I Made Ardika Yasa

Biography

I Made Ardika Yasa was born on February 1, 1987, in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. He is the second of three siblings, born to the late I Nyoman Sutisna and Ni Nengah Sitha. He completed his primary education at SD Negeri 1 Mataram in 1999, followed by junior secondary education at SMP Negeri 9 Mataram, graduating in 2002. He then pursued his senior secondary education at SMA Negeri 4 Mataram, where he graduated in 2005. For higher education, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Extension and Communication from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram, graduating cum laude in 2009. In 2007, he also pursued studies at the State College of Hindu Religion Gde Pudja Mataram (now the State Institute of Hindu Religion Gde Pudja Mataram) and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Hindu Religious Education, graduating cum laude in 2011. He subsequently completed his Master’s Degree in Hindu Religious Education at the State Institute of Hindu Dharma Denpasar, graduating cum laude in 2011. Currently, he serves as a civil servant lecturer in the Hindu Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Dharma Acarya, State Institute of Hindu Religion Gde Pudja Mataram. He holds the academic rank of Lecturer (Lektor) with the civil service rank Penata (III/c). His primary area of expertise is Curriculum Development. In fulfilling his academic responsibilities, he is actively engaged in teaching, research, and community service in accordance with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. To further enhance his academic competence, he pursued doctoral studies at the Postgraduate Program of Ganesha University of Education, Singaraja, Bali, specializing in Educational Administration within the Educational Science Program. He successfully completed his doctoral degree cum laude on February 10, 2025. In addition to his academic career, he also serves as a temple priest (Pemangku) at Pura Pemaksan Banjar Pajang.
