Biography

Dr. Ummar Atta, a distinguished scholar in the realm of forestry, holds a Ph.D. in Forestry with a specialization in Minor Forest Products and Utilization. His academic journey has been marked by exceptional achievements, including thrice qualifying the prestigious National Eligibility Test (NET). During his tenure of three years with an NMHS project, Dr. Atta made significant contributions to the documentation of numerous Non-Timber Forest Product (NTFP) species, thereby enriching the scientific understanding of these resources. His groundbreaking research culminated in publications in esteemed international and national journals, showcasing his expertise and dedication to advancing forestry knowledge.
