Biography
My educational journey in forestry began in September 2007 when I was admitted to the Forest Resource Management Department at the Vietnam National University of Forestry. Throughout the four-year program, I delved into various forest ecology, management, and conservation aspects. This foundational education gave me a comprehensive understanding of the intricate balance required for sustainable forestry practices. In May 2011, I proudly graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Forest Resource Management, equipped with the fundamental skills necessary to contribute meaningfully to the forestry sector. Eager to apply my knowledge practically, I embarked on the next chapter of my career in May 2012 at the Institute of Vietnam Tropical Forestry Research and Development. During my tenure at the institute, I gained valuable hands-on experience in forest management, planning, and research. This period exposed me to the critical importance of sustainable forestry practices in achieving a harmonious balance between economic, social, and environmental needs. Recognizing the significance of knowledge dissemination, I transitioned into academia in March 2013, joining the Vietnam National University of Forestry faculty. I taught GIS and Remote Sensing, Forestry Law, and Forest Management courses in this role. Interacting with energetic, enthusiastic, and optimistic students was a fulfilling experience, and I cherished the opportunity to share my expertise and passion for the field. Seeking to deepen my understanding and broaden my perspectives, I pursued a Master's in Forestry at the College of Forestry, Northwest A&F University in China, in August 2015. This program not only expanded my knowledge of forest ecology, conservation, and management but also exposed me to a rich cultural experience and allowed me to learn from leading experts in the forestry field. In May 2019, I graduated with a Master's degree, ready to face new challenges and contribute further to the area. Driven by a commitment to advancing knowledge, I returned to the College of Forestry, Northwest A&F University in China, in August 2019 to pursue a doctoral degree. Over the subsequent years, I engaged in rigorous research, expanding the frontier of understanding in forestry. In September 2023, my dedication culminated in the conferral of a doctoral degree, marking the completion of a transformative educational journey. This extensive academic background has equipped me with a deep understanding of forestry and instilled a passion for sustainable practices, research, and education. I am now poised to apply this wealth of knowledge and experience to address complex challenges in the field of forestry and contribute to its continued development.
