Biography
Felicia Ceaușu is a graduate of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, Faculty of Philosophy, class of 1992–1997. Her undergraduate thesis was titled “Plastic Creation in Individuals with Mental Disorders. An Art Therapy Proposal.” She completed a Master’s degree in Pedagogy, specializing in Integrated Education, with a dissertation entitled “Integrative Valences of Art Therapy” (1998). She also earned a second Master’s degree in “Theories and Practices of Interpretation” (2003) at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, with a dissertation titled “Models of Mental Architecture: Body–Mind–Computer.” In 2007, she obtained her PhD with a thesis titled “The Mind–Body Relationship in Contemporary Philosophy of Science.” Since 2000, she has been a scientific researcher (grade III) at the “Gheorghe Zane” Institute of Economic and Social Research in Iași, a branch of the Romanian Academy. She has published over 70 articles and studies in prestigious Romanian and international journals, as well as nine books, including: Cognitive Mechanisms and Individual Strategies, LAP Lambert Academic Publishing, 2012 Mental Representation, from “Texture” to Discourse, LAP Lambert Academic Publishing, 2017 Architecture of Thought – Paradigms of Cognitive Psychology, LAP Lambert Academic Publishing, 2020 Companion of Philosophical Psychology, LAP Lambert Academic Publishing, 2020 She has been a member of the Quasar Literary Circle in Iași since 1998, participating in the organization of all regular activities, including the commemorative event “Dan Merișca Days” and Romcon.
