Biography
Santhosh Gugulothu is a PhD scholar in Sociology at the Centre for Economic and Social Studies, Hyderabad, Telangana. His research focuses on social inequalities, education, migration, and women’s health within marginalized communities in Telangana. He explores the social and economic challenges faced by Scheduled Tribes and DNTs. He has conducted extensive fieldwork in rural Telangana. He has published several articles in UGC-listed journals, including studies on Tribal Health, Cultural Taboos affecting tribal women, and Prostitution as a Caste-based Occupation among Dommaris. His work aims to inform policies that improve educational and health outcomes for tribal communities.
