Biography

Dr. K. Vignesh – is currently working as a Assistant Professor in Nalanda College of Agriculture, Trichy. He completed his B.Sc., (Agriculture) and M.Sc., (Plant Pathology), Ph. D (Plant Pathology) at the Faculty of Agriculture, Annamalai University in 2018, 2020 and 2024 respectively. He got the Best Young Scientist award in TIPBSM – 2023, Young Researcher Award in ICRSP – 2023, Best Researcher Award from International Eminent Awards on Engineering, Science and Medicine INSO 2022 & received Best Popular Article Writer in Agrisakthi e-magazine, Best article award in Sabujeema International multi-disciplinary e-magazine. He has presented papers at 9 International and 2 National conferences and attended more than 160 webinars, at 20 Conferences (International & National Level). He has completed more than 20 online (MOOC) courses and 04 Projects. He has participated in 02 ICAR Programmes, 5 National seminars, 5 Symposiums, 4 Lecture series, 21 Workshops, 4 Webinar series 16 Training programmes, 02 Conclaves, and more than 40 Quizzes. To his credit, he has published 6 edited books, 6 Research papers in International Journals, 15 book chapters, and more than 100 popular articles in various Scientific Agricultural Newsletters, Magazines, e-magazines and books. Presently he is a reviewer & and editorial board member in 07 International Journals and e-magazines. He has served as a member in Anti – the Drug Committee in the Faculty of Agriculture, Annamalai University during the academic year of 2021 – 2022. He is serving as a member of the Asian Council of Science Editors (ACSE), All India Agricultural Students Association (AIASA), All India Council for Technical Skill Development (AICTSD), International Association for Agricultural Sustainability (IAAS), Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST). Apart from his Education and Research, He is the Founder of an Agricultural monthly e-magazine named as “GreenariA”, which publishes the popular articles related to Agriculture and Allied sciences.
