Dr. Vaishnavi P is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Extension at the School of Agricultural Sciences, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, located in Samayapuram, Trichy. With a deep-rooted passion for agricultural education and extension, Dr. Vaishnavi has dedicated her career to advancing knowledge and practices in this field. Dr. Vaishnavi embarked on her academic journey at the prestigious University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka, where she pursued her Ph.D. in Agricultural Extension Education. Under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. D. A. Nithya Shree, she delved into the realm of agricultural extension with a particular focus on educational programs. In 2023, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled "An Analysis of Student READY Programme (SRP) in Agricultural Universities of South India," marking a significant milestone in her academic pursuit. Her doctoral research, centered on the Student READY Programme (SRP), sheds light on the efficacy and impact of educational initiatives within agricultural universities across South India. Through meticulous analysis and empirical investigation, Dr. Vaishnavi unearthed valuable insights into the strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas for improvement within these programs. Her findings not only contribute to the academic discourse but also offer practical recommendations for enhancing student readiness and engagement in agricultural education.
