Dr. Cassio Santos

Biography

PhD in Education (European Doctorate) from the University of Lisbon, with a specialisation in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education. Holds a Master’s degree in Education and Digital Technologies from the same institution and completed a postdoctoral at the University of Seville, focusing on digital competences. Also possesses a postgraduate qualification in higher education pedagogy. An integrated member of the Research and Development Unit in Education and Training (UIDEF) at the Institute of Education, University of Lisbon, actively engaged in various national and international research and intervention projects. National projects include the evaluation of the impact of educational interventions on digital literacy and the Project for Promoting Academic Success and Reducing Dropout Rates in Higher Education, which encompasses the development and provision of a pedagogical “toolbox” for faculty at the University of Lisbon. Currently serves as faculty at the School of Education of Santarém, Santarém Polytechnic University, Santarém, and at the Institute of Education (IE), University of Lisbon (ULisboa), Portugal.
