Biography

Dr. Dilip Kumar Chaurasiya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology at GLA University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. He obtained his Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Samastipur, Bihar, India, in 2023 with ICAR-SRF fellowship. Dr. Chaurasiya has a robust academic and research background, having completed his M.Sc. in Plant Pathology at Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV), Mohanpur, West Bengal, in 2019 with ICAR-National Talent scholarship. He has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Best Research Scholar Award in 2020, the Best/Outstanding Thesis Award in 2021, and the Young Scientist Award in Plant Pathology in 2023. Dr. Chaurasiya is also an editorial board member of the Acta Scientific Agriculture Journal and is actively engaged in rigorous peer-review processes to contribute to the advancement of agricultural sciences. His technical expertise includes microbiology, microscopy, and biotechnology, with a focus on DNA and RNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, and PCR.
