Biography
The research will include the determination of the effectiveness of cultural, biological, mechanical, alternative, and chemical control applications of weed management understanding by planning studies within a multidisciplinary understanding of how climate change will affect weed management practices. At the same time, foreign control systems will be developed by integrating mechanical, cultural, allelopathic, and cover crop applications that can take place in invasive plant management. In the long term, it will include the evaluation of results by developing and applying integrated, ecological, and organic weed management strategies using planting techniques, allelopathic plants, and cover crops in the crops to be determined for herbicide-resistant weeds. Trimming and heat applications that can be applied to combat invasive weeds in perennial orchards and cover crop applications using allelopathic plants will be carried out. In particular, regional and interstate projects will be undertaken, weed control opportunities will be determined in products with critical importance in cooperation, and stakeholders will be informed about the results of the research through regional workshops, meetings, and seminars. The results will be published in peer-reviewed journals. During the project studies, graduate students will be included in the projects and their graduate studies will be carried out. To In summary, my primary interests at this point in my career are non-chemical weed control methods, the development of integrated control systems by adding new techniques, and the management of invasive and resistant weeds. Development and evaluation of sustainable weed control systems to minimize environmental damage from pesticide use. I have had the opportunity to conduct field experiments and laboratory experiments in two very different contexts in pursuit of these interests. In the near future, I want to go even further with new experiments planned to implement this experience. I plan to expand my expertise in these areas through a mix of empirical laboratory and empirical field research. At the same time, it will be ensured that the methods to be transferred into practice will be achieved through field trials and laboratory trials.
