Dr. Andrea Grippo

Biography

Andrea Grippo is a postdoctoral researcher at the Akademie der bildenden Künste in Vienna. He holds a Ph.D. in Legal and Political Sciences from Guglielmo Marconi University and serves as the Communication Officer for RC47 "Social Classes and Social Movements" within the International Sociological Association (ISA). His research primarily focuses on far-right social movements, with additional interests in political participation and gender studies. His recent publications include Noi, Loro e gli Altri, Aracne Editrice (in press); with E. Toscano, Italian Far-Right Foreign Fighters in the Ukrainian War. The Long Chain of Transnational Recruitment. International Review of Sociology (2023); Questioni ontologiche ed epistemologiche nello studio dell’estrema destra. Rassegna Italiana di Sociologia (2024).
