Biography
Noli B. Ballara is a distinguished faculty member at the College of Education, Northern Iloilo State University-Main Campus, Estancia, Iloilo. He holds a Bachelor of Elementary Education, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2014, a Master of Arts in Teaching major in English (2019), and a Doctor of Education in Educational Management (2023). His academic journey and professional career are marked by a commitment to excellence and innovation in education. He served as an elementary teacher with the Department of Education from 2015 to 2021, earning his Licensed Professional Teacher certification and the Honor Graduate Eligibility by the Civil Service Commission in 2014. Recognized as a Microsoft Innovative Educator, he also received the Parangal 2020 award, Guro sa Filipino, highlighting his innovative teaching methods and dedication to Filipino education. An active researcher, he has presented at local, national, and international fora, contributing significantly to the field of Humanities and Social Sciences. He has four published papers and has developed a copyrighted research instrument titled “Paternalistic Leadership and Administrative Performance in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).” At Northern Iloilo State University, he teaches courses such as Teaching English and Filipino in the Elementary Grades, Assessment in Learning, Field Study, and Teaching Internship. His extensive teaching experience and dedication to student success make him a respected educator. His achievements and contributions to research and education underscore his role as a valuable asset to his university and the broader academic community.
