Biography
Kyaw Win is a doctoral student in the Department of Global Agricultural Sciences at the University of Tokyo. His research focuses on integrating remote sensing data and machine learning techniques for forest monitoring and assessing soil properties. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry from University of Forestry and has participated in fieldwork related to plantation management and soil suitability mapping. In this study, he developed a soil moisture suitability map using multi-source remote sensing data, aiming to support the sustainable selection of forest species and plantation planning.
