Biography
Dr. Düzgün Çakırca graduated from Trakya University, Department of Architecture. He completed his master's degree at Gazi University, Institute of Science, Department of Architecture (Restoration) and prepared a thesis titled "A study and evaluation of historical texture. Harput example". He completed his doctoral studies at Trakya University, Institute of Science with the thesis "Conditions of protecting cultural heritage in the Euphrates-Tigris basin in the context of water policies" and received his doctorate in 2011. He worked as an architect at the Ministry of Public Works and Resettlement between 1992-2015. After working at Batman University between 2015-2019, he has been continuing his academic career at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Department of Architecture since 2019. He also teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Restoration at the Department of Architecture, together with the Head of the Department of Restoration, and continues his research and publication studies in the field of conservation and restoration. He has research and publication studies in this field.
