Biography
I am Sun Yongsheng, born in April 1978, is a returning scholar and associate researcher. My research direction is vegetable physiology and cultivation techniques. Focus on the feasibility study of agricultural projects for new business entities, planning of agricultural production parks, introduction and demonstration of new vegetable varieties and technologies, research and development of new vegetable varieties, and demonstration and promotion of supporting cultivation technologies. Up to now, I have led one social security project and three provincial-level projects, and participated in four agricultural projects and over ten provincial-level projects. Obtained a total of 5 scientific research achievement awards. Among them, "Research and Application of Breeding Technology for New Varieties of Liaocong Series Scallion" won the second prize of Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Progress in 2011; In 2013, the third prize of the China Agricultural Science and Technology Award was awarded for "Innovation in Scallion Breeding Technology and Research and Application of Liaocong Series New Variety Breeding"; The breeding of the new variety of leek, Liaojiu No.1, won the third prize for scientific and technological innovation at Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2015; The integrated promotion of main cultivation techniques for pollution-free greenhouse vegetables won the third prize of the Agricultural, Animal Husbandry, and Fishery Harvest Award in 2016; The integrated promotion of new varieties of facility tomatoes and high-quality and efficient cultivation techniques won the first prize of Liaoning Province Science and Technology Contribution Award in 2022. During my 20 years of work, I independently selected and bred 1 new variety of Chinese cabbage, participated in the selection and breeding of 4 new varieties of chili, 1 new variety of tomato, 6 new varieties of Chinese cabbage, 3 new varieties of scallions, and 1 new variety of chives. A tomato spray shading device "obtained a national utility model patent in 2023. Published 7 lead articles in Chinese core journals, 5 lead articles in national journals, and 6 lead articles in provincial journals. Compiled popular science works "Scallion Seed Production Technology" and "Illustrated Key Techniques for Cultivating Chives, Scallions, and Scallions in Greenhouses" in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Participated in the compilation of popular science work "Illustrated Encyclopedia of Pollution free Greenhouse Vegetable Cultivation Technology" in 2020.
