Biography
Cynthia Ogbu is a dedicated researcher and academic specializing in Urban Forestry, Entomology, and Environmental Science. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Urban Forestry, focusing on honey bees and their interactions with environmental pollution in urban landscapes. Her research integrates entomology, climate science, and sustainable ecosystem management to enhance the understanding of pollinator health in urban environments. Cynthia holds a First-Class Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and a Master of Science in Urban Forestry. She has extensive research experience as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at Southern University and A&M College, where she contributes to research initiatives, co-authors peer-reviewed articles, and teaches undergraduate courses in urban forestry. Her research interests span natural resource conservation, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, sustainable land-use planning, and environmental sustainability.
