Biography

I was born and brought up in old delhi. studied at Cambridge school and graduated from hansraj college, delhi university in 1980. I started my teaching career in 1985 from rajdhani college and retired from zakir husain college with vrs in 2017. I have been research fel;low at prestigious research institutes like nehru memorial museum and library, indian council of social science research, institute of economic growth and centre for the study of developing societies. i have written eight books and 26 journal articles in economic and political weekly and indian journal of public administration etc.
