Dr. Lejla Mušić

Biography

Lejla Mušić is Full Time professor at Sarajevo University, (from July 2024), working at the Department of the Sociology of Political Science Faculty Sarajevo, at Sarajevo University, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She teaches disciplines Sociology of Gender I and Sociology of Gender II. As a member of ISA, SWS, ASA, TASA, IPRA, Forum Bosnae, Atiner and junior member of the Board for Sociology of Bosnian Science Academy, she participated in a different sociological conferences. She is awarded with star performer award in 2015 from American Virgin Islands University, Saint Thomas, Her book Women Scientists position in Sociology, Techniques and Chemistry, is published in cooperation with prof. emeritus Mary Jo Deegan, from Nebraska Lincoln University, USA. Femina Academica, Female sociologist as a Profession(2021), as a new book by prof Mušić , investigates Women Scientists in sociology. In 2024, Femina Cartoonica, on Disney Youth femininities and masculinities, is published. Working Experience Faculty of Political Sciences Sarajevo, since 2008.
