Biography
Lecturer in the Department of Pedagogy and Didactics at the University of Santiago de Compostela. Degree in Philosophy and Educational Sciences from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 1995 (Extraordinary Prize). PhD in Educational Sciences in 2002 (Extraordinary Prize). She was Vice-Rector of Teaching and Research Staff and Degrees at the University of Santiago de Compostela, responsible for academic policy, teaching staff and training and teaching innovation between 2010-2013. Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences at the University of Santiago de Compostela from 2014-2022 and President of the National Conference of Deans of Education from 2018 to 2022. Director of the Institute of Educational Sciences of the USC (April 2024- Specialist in Educational Technology and Teacher Training. She was Head of the Educational Technology section of the Institute of Educational Sciences at the USC, and her professional career is linked to teacher training, teaching university subjects such as Educational Technology, New Technologies Applied to Education, Education in Media and Social Web or Research in e-learning, and training courses and teaching innovation for teachers of all educational levels and other education professionals. She is a member of the Association for the Development of Educational Technology and New Technologies applied to Education (EDUTEC) and the Galician e-learning Observatory. She belongs to the Educational Technology Research Group of the USC (GI-1438) and to the Network of Immigration, School and Society (RIES), made up of 7 research groups of the Galician University System (SUG). She has participated in numerous publications and regional and national research projects in collaboration with other researchers
