Biography
Dr. Huma Naz is a researcher, educator, and social development professional with extensive experience in environmental microbiology, soil science, plant pathology, and sustainability. She has published around 40 research papers, authored more than 20 books, and contributed to over 16 book chapters in national and international publications. Her research focuses on reducing toxicity in water, soil, and crops, with particular emphasis on sustainable agriculture, environmental health, and microbial remediation. She has served in teaching, research, and academic leadership roles in India and abroad, including Eritrea, and has participated in and organized numerous international conferences in countries such as Nepal, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Russia, Malaysia, Dubai/UAE, and Ethiopia. Dr. Naz has received several awards for her contributions to research, teaching, organization, and environmental microbiology, reflecting her commitment to science, education, and community service.
