Dr Theo Mojtaba Ammari is a distinguished and visionary leader in academic development and higher education. He is globally recognised for pioneering contributions to authentic curriculum design, transformative assessment practices, and advanced skills development. As an Associate Professor in Academic Development, Dr Ammari initiated the groundbreaking Assessment Sprint project in response to the rapid advancements in Generative AI, which has since become the cornerstone of the university’s flagship Assessment Innovation Programme (AIP). This initiative has redefined educational frameworks, aligning them with the future of learning, teaching, and assessment in the age of AI. A dynamic and internationally acclaimed keynote speaker, Dr Ammari has delivered thought-provoking addresses at prestigious conferences in the United Kingdom, Turkey, Oman, China, and Kazakhstan, influencing academic discourse globally. A passionate advocate for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), Dr Ammari is at the forefront of driving sustainable change in education, shaping both global policy and institutional practice.
