Biography
I'm a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Rice University’s Center for Coastal Futures and Adaptive Resilience (CFAR). I study how flood risk, wealth inequality, and social vulnerability shape community resilience to climate change. I earned my PhD in Geographic Information Science from Arizona State University, focusing on large-scale spatial data analysis of hazards and the built environment. My work combines GIS, remote sensing, and data visualization to inform equitable climate adaptation, with publications in Population and Environment and related journals. Passionate about turning complex spatial data into actionable insights through research, teaching, and interactive mapping.
