Ruffy Rodrigo

Biography

Ruffy Rodrigo, MSc, serves as an Associate Professor of the Department of Forest Science, Biliran Province State University, Philippines. He is currently pursuing a PhD in forest sciences at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, Czech Republic. Ruffy holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Forestry from the Visayas State University. He further augmented his expertise by completing a second master's degree in Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology at the University of Goettingen, Germany, with sponsorship from the German Academic Exchange Service. Ruffy's research contributions have been featured in renowned SCOPUS and Web of Science journals, amassing an impressive total of 65 citations. His instructional focus encompasses a wide array of topics within the field, including forest ecology, watershed management, international forestry practices, silviculture, tree physiology, and grassland ecology. His commitment to advancing these areas of study elevates the quality of forest science education and research.
