During 2021-23 he was President of the National Scientific Qualification Commission for the Economic and Territorial Sociology sector (14/D1), at the Ministry of University. Since 2002 he has taught (also in English) economic sociology disciplines at the Faculty of Economics "Giorgio Fuà" of the Polytechnic University of Marche and also at the Faculty of Engineering-Architecture and the Faculty of Medicine. It 'was Dean of Communication Sciences and one of the vice-rectors at the University of Teramo. He also taught at the University of Calabria, Bologna, Camerino and the LUISS University in Rome. He was the Director of the Department of Social Sciences "Donatello Serrani" of the Faculty of Economics and member of the Academic Senate of the UNIVPM. From 2009 to 2013 he was managing the UNIVPM Rector for External Relations. It 'was Deputy Chairman of the Science and Technology Park of the Marche and president of a consortium of small and medium enterprises in the Industrial District Val Vibrata. He was the author of the delimitation of the industrial districts in the Abruzzo and Marche regions. He was the special advisor to the President of Regional Government of Marche (1996-2000).
