Dr. Gu GyoJeong

Biography

I am currently serving as the principal of Dongincheon Middle School and have worked in the field of secondary education for 34 years. I earned my doctoral degree in Education with a focus on Distance and Lifelong Education Policy from Hongik University and the Korea Educational Development Institute. Since 2004, I have served as a part-time lecturer at several universities, including Chungnam National University, Hongik University, Inha University, Korea Digital University, and Hanshin University. In the area of science-related extracurricular activities, I have guided national student delegations to the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). I have also been actively involved in environmental and energy education, for which I received the Presidential Award. In recognition of my efforts to improve the quality of education, I was selected as an Outstanding Teacher and awarded the Order of Service Merit (Hongjo Geunjeong Medal). I have a deep interest in curriculum development and have recently authored numerous research papers and books on the subject. Based on my experience and expertise, I would like to serve as a reviewer for academic journals in the field of education.
