Dr. Mira Mishra

Biography

Dr. Mira Mishra holds expertise is in teaching pedagogy of science education, environmental education and educational philosophy. She is also adept at curriculum development and educational philosophy. She has been teaching this courses for nearly five years at school of education, G D Goenka University. Prior to joining G D Goenka University in August 2016, she had been working as a research scholar in IASE, Department of Teacher Training and Non-Formal Education, Jamia Millia Islamia. Dr. Mira also has diverse teaching experience in International schools at A level and IGCSE level as an subject expert in environmental management for nearly two years. She has also recorded six lectures on various topics of Science education and Elementary education for National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Dr. Mira holds a PhD (Education) from Jamia Millia Islamia; M.Ed. from Guru Gobind Singh University; B.Ed. from Regional Institute of Education (Bhubaneswar); NCERT; M.Sc. (Environmental Science); and B.Sc. from Vidyasagar University). She has qualified University Grants Commission- National Eligibility Test in Education in December 2010 and Certificate Course in Action Research from NCERT in June 2019.
