Dr. Budi Setiawan

Biography

Dr. Budi Setiawan, M.Pd. is a lecturer at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia with expertise in educational technology, language learning, and curriculum development. He earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta. His doctoral research focused on developing MATAP (Mobile-Assisted TOEIC Preparation) to improve vocational high school students’ English competence. Since 2020, he has carried out teaching, research, and community service activities at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. From 2021 to 2022, he served as Head of the Study Program’s Internal Quality Assurance Unit. His research and publications focus on mobile learning, instructional multimedia, artificial intelligence in education, TPACK, adaptive learning, critical thinking skills, and curriculum development. He is also actively involved as a project leader and team member in various research and community service initiatives and is a member of the Indonesian Educational Technology Study Program Association (APS-TPI).
